Mr. Abdellah Boussouf, Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and Mr. Mehdi Qotbi, President of the National Museums Foundation (FNM), signed Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Rabat, a convention framework for the promotion of Moroccan culture internationally and especially towards Moroccans of the world.

This agreement comes as part of the CCME missions to facilitate the integration of overseas Moroccans in host countries and the preservation of their "cultural" identity. This engagement with the FNM is the beginning of a strong partnership in favor of the globalization of the Moroccan culture and its values ​​of tolerance and peace.

In his speech, Mr. Mehdi Qotbi stressed the important role of museums in the dialogue of cultures and civilizations and welcomed the royal vision and personal efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the preservation of Moroccan culture and its promotion across generations.

The signing of the agreement with the CCME, which coincides with the third anniversary of the establishment of the FNM, according to Mr. Mehdi Qotbi is an "expression of the attachment of Moroccans to their culture and their heritage, whether in Morocco or abroad. "
