Marrakech: The CCME at the COP 22 from 7 to 18 November 2016

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) will take part to the COP 22 held in Marrakech from 7 to 18 November 2016. The participation of the Council will be mainly focused on the impact of climate changes on in Africa.

"The migratory movement  is a consequence of climate change," says M.Abdellah Boussouf, General Secretary of CCME adding that "African skills in the world are able to actively participate in reducing the challenges associated with these changes."

The Council will organize three events at the Cop 22.

An Institutional Stand from 7 to18 November 2016 on the Moroccan institutions. Its objective : hilightning the Moroccan skills living abroad.  As example, the project "Light Us" a photovoltaic torch invented  by  two young French- Moroccans from the Institute of intelligence and public affairs (MIPAI).

An international symposium on "climate change: new approaches, new technologies, new opportunities, involvement of African skills  from here and elsewhere", on 11 and 12 November 2016.

Last but not least African institutions and universities in African countries will have several meetings on the ways to coordinate and assemble the African expertise in the world.
