A Moldavian delegation visits the CCME

A delegation of 17 presidents of local councils and the head of the migration office at the Moldovan Primacy  from the Republic of Moldova visited the Council of the moroccan community living abroad (CCME) Wednesday 23 november 2017.

The delegation is part of the project called  "Migration and Local Development" implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the support of the Swiss government, the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME).

The  Moldovan delegation, in Morocco from 20 to 25 November 2016, want to learn about the Moroccan experience in the field of migration and development and  exchange expertise with their counterparts Morocco, on the the Kingdom's Joint Initiative on Migration and Local Development.

The secretary general of the CCME, Mr Abdellah Boussouf explained the the mission of  the CCME  as a consultative institution, and made a speech about the issue of migrants' participation in the development of their regions of origin in the objectives of the CCME. He added that  the Council organized a series of conferences on the Moroccan migration, development and skills of the world and carried out a study on 25 years of public policies of Moroccan skills abroad.

Then, Mr Abdellah Boussouf exposed Morocco's experiences in the field of development since the 1980s and the Conclusions of the international colloquium "Moroccans of the world and advanced regionalization" organized by the CCME, in partnership with the Chamber of Advisors on 27 and 28 July 2016.

The Secretary general, said how important it is  to  involving The Moroccan competences of the world in the development of their regions, through a participatory approach.
