Mr. Abdellah Boussouf, Secretary General of the CCME, informed the delegation on the missions and the vocation of the Council, a public consultative institution which evaluates public policies in relation to the Moroccans living abroad.

The CCME’s role is also to bolster the contribution of Moroccans living to the economic, social and human development of their country of origin said Mr. Boussouf who added: " thanks to the expertise acquired in their country of residence ». He pointed out the mexican an indian approaches towards their diasporas.

Mr. Boussouf further urged the executive bodies to simplify and encourage "the process of integration of Moroccans in their countries of residence because apart from dual membership, there is the matter of citizenship".
