Agadir: The CCME participates to the International Festival "Cinema and Migration"

The opening of the 16th edition of the International Festival "Cinema and Migration" (FICMA) is taking place from 9 to 14 December 2019 in the city of Agadir. Belgium is the guest honor of this edition.

Then movies will compete in the official contests. And the awards will be given by a jury chaired by Cheick Oumar Sissoko the director and the Malian former Minister of Culture, the Tunisian actress Fatma ben Saïdane, the Moroccan director Ismaël Ferroukhi, the French director Manuel Sanchez and Italian director Annamaria Gallone.

The short film jury will, for its part, be chaired by Moroccan director, producer and screenwriter Abdeslam Kelai, the Moroccan actress Saâdia Ladib, the Dutch-Algerian director and screenwriter Karim Traidia, the Moroccan director and screenwriter Mohamed El Khomais, and the Lebanese actress and author Darine Al Joundi.

The FICMA is organized by the Cultural Initiative Association in partnership with the delegate Ministry in charge of Moroccans living Abroad and Migration Affairs, the Moroccan Cinema Center (CCM), the Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad ( CCME), the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa region, the Regional Council of Souss-Massa, the prefecture of Agadir Idda Outanane and the municipality of Agadir.
