The sixth edition of the Festival of Moroccans of the World will take place from 11 to 14 August 2024 in Imilchil, with support from the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME). Its theme will be "Moroccans of the World and local authorities: a partnership for development".
Organised by the "AKHIAM" Association for Economic and Social Development in Imilchil and the "Solidarité et échange Nord-Sud" (SENS) association in Bordeaux, this annual event is designed to promote the opportunities for investment for Moroccans living abroad in the Imilchil region and to highlight the region's potential.
The programme for this year's festival will include a workshop given by the President of the CCME, Driss El Yazami, on "The territorial dimension of the contribution of Moroccans to development", to be held on 12 August 2024.
According to the organisers, the festival is intended to build stronger ties between Moroccans living abroad and those involved locally, particularly local authorities and organisations working in the field of socio-economic development.
CCME
