Casablanca: DIMOBEL project closing ceremony

Mr. Driss El Yazami, President of the Council for the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), will be taking part in the closing ceremony of the DIMOBEL (Digital Moroccan Belgian Entrepreneurship Lab) project on 17 October 2024 on the campus of the ESCA École de Management in Casablanca (Casa Finance City).

The aim of the project is to support Moroccan entrepreneurs, particularly in the Eastern region of the country. The aim is to reinforce and support the entrepreneurial dynamic in Belgium and Morocco. This project was financed during the session of the Permanent Joint Commission between the government of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Walloon region and the Wallonia-Brussels French-speaking community.

The project involved a range of activities, including creating a platform for networking and bringing people together; promoting the establishment of a community of Belgian and Moroccan operators and organizing a digital autumn university from 12 to 14 December 2023, dedicated to reflection on the entrepreneurial dynamics and tools for economic cooperation in the Belgian-Moroccan corridor, a Belgo-Moroccan Academic Forum in Brussels, on 8 and 9 February 2024, at the Royal Museum of Art and History, with the participation of speakers from Morocco and Belgium and a study day in Oujda, on 6 June 2024, dedicated to promoting the economy and supporting entrepreneurship.

DIMOBEL includes the University of Liège (Wallonia), Cercle des Lauréats de Belgique, the ESCA School of Management in Casablanca and the Mohammed premier University in Oujda.

This edition is part of the festivities commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Belgian-Moroccan bilateral agreement signed on 17 February 1964.
