Supported by the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME, the Institut Français du Maroc (IFM) is hosting a retrospective of seven documentaries by Moroccan filmmaker Dalila Nader from 7 November to 14 December 2024 in different Moroccan cities. The events will be attended by the director's daughter and family members.
According to a statement from the French Institute, which hosts the screening tour organised by Laya Prod* and with the support of TV2 (2M) and Culture Plus Conseil, this event "is an opportunity for the public to (re)discover the cinematic world of Dalila El Nader, with its deep connotations, and to interact directly with her daughter Lilia El Nader, who lived her world up close."
Born 1966 in Casablanca, Dalila Nadir grew up in Paris and lived in Guyana, Germany, Morocco and in Canada from 1985 to 1996. Self-taught, she has made several documentary films on issues related to Moroccan society. Her movies have won awards at many documentary film festivals around the world.

The screening of 7 documentaries by Moroccan director Dalila Ennadre will take place at the "Institut français du Maroc" from 7 November to 14 December 2024. The screenings of the movies are an opportunity to (re)discover Dalila Ennadre's rich cinematography, while engaging with her daughter Lilya Ennadre, who has closely experienced her world.
