Fatiha Saidi discussed her book “j’ai deux amours”, highlighting testimonies from Moroccan-Belgian writers that affirm a harmonious dual identity. Ahmed Madhoune emphasized the “duty of memory” to preserve migration history, presenting “Belgium, My Country”, which honors invisible women migrants and explores belonging.
Hassan Bousetta introduced “Entre deux rives”, tracing Moroccan-Belgian relations and circular mobility, blending historical and sociological perspectives.
Michelle Desmont addressed lesser-known migrations, driven by love or curiosity and sought to correct Belgian misconceptions about Morocco.
Mohamed Ikoubaân shared founding “Moussem Belgica” to counter racist rhetoric in Flanders and promote Moroccan culture as part of Belgian history through cultural integration.
