Meeting Moroccans worldwide. The weekly podcast brought to you by the CCME
From history and culture to migration issues, literature and politics, this podcast discusses issues of interest and inspires women and men from so many different horizons, with one common bond: a deep attachment to Morocco. They share their thoughts and experiences in “Conversations with Hanane Harrath” (a French-language podcast) and in ‘لقاء مع سهيلة الريكي’ (an Arabic- and Amazigh-language podcast).
For our first podcast, we host Rachid Benzine, a Moroccan of the world who became famous for his research on Islam, before moving on to writing novels. He has published 5 novels to date. The novels have been brought together in a boxed set by the CCME in partnership with the Académie du Royaume and Le Fennec Editions.
In this first podcast, Rachid Benzine talks about the issues that are close to his heart and which he explores in his novels. Among them the bond with immigrant parents, the issue of memory and radical Islam.
