Director Simone Bitton produces documentaries on history, current affairs and cultures of Morocco and the Middle East, with a special emphasis on Moroccan Jewish history. Her latest documentary, a very personal one, is dedicated to a leading figure in Moroccan Judaism: the late Edmond Amran el Maleh.
