The Council of the Moroccan community abroad (CCME), has organized a meeting the 28th September 2015 at the Council in Rabat.
Several Council members and Mr. Giovanni Mottura, a sociologist from Tornio, Italy, have made an overview on the second generation of Moroccan migration in Italy. According to experts, this community remains “poorly identified”. In fact, since the end of the 90s, this fringe is the first foreign community in entrepreneurship in Italy.The Italians ” from Moroccan descent, young and feminised: 30% between the age of 18 and 34, 42% of them represented by women”, are the first non-European community in Italy with 560.000 persons, followed by Albanians and the Chineese
