The 9th edition of Rabat-Africa festival pays tribute to mixed Africa

The 9th edition of Rabat-Africa festival organized under the banner of multiculturalism and miscegenation was opened on Tuesday in Rabat with a blockbuster show by American artists of international renown.

Organized by the East-West Foundation from 5 to 9 May, this year’s edition pay tribute to Métis Africa, on the occasion of the World Refugee Day, celebrated on June 20, hosting ten artists and migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa, Morocco and the United States throughout the week.

The menu included performances, concerts, workshops and photo exhibitions and art, as well as a traditional fashion show "World Migrants" and a representation of artistic creation "We are all mid-major "which will put into perspective the cultural diversity of the African continent.

The Rabat-Africa Festival is an annual tradition where African troops from Morocco and elsewhere, artists from immigrant descent, refugee or asylum seekers come together and bring to viewers their many talents and put all the cultural richness of Africa in the spotlight.
