In the current context marked by the will of the Moroccan and Canadian governments to raise their economic partnership to a higher level, "MaroCan 2015" through the judicious choice of its programming, has confirmed the will of the CCIMC to perpetuate its role as a key promoter of trade and cooperation between Rabat and Ottawa.

She has, moreover, emphasized the role and contribution of the Moroccan diaspora, a "major asset", which has seen over the years a structural change, allowing it to become a major player in the economic partnership, transfer of technology and know-how.

"Beyond its role of bilateral cooperation, the Moroccan community, with its achievements, its network and will, is able to attract more partners to Morocco, not only to invest, but to use as a platform to access the African continent, "she added.

For his part, the President of the CCIMC Abderrahim Khouibaba, recalled that the Chamber aims through the activities organized as part of this event, to play the role of "facilitator" for trade relations between Morocco and Canada and incite the Moroccan community in this North American country to play an active role in trade between the host country and the motherland.

"As Moroccans of Canada, we must strengthen these economic links, to somehow be ambassadors for our country, Morocco, which can solidify its ties with Canada in all directions," he insisted.

Further, he said that "MaroCan 2015" will offer several events in economic and cultural fields that will radiate Morocco across Canada and will allow the Moroccan community, with this dual Moroccan and Canadian culture, to promote trade and bilateral cooperation in the economic and socio-cultural fields.
