Focus on the cities of Dakhla, Essaouira and Casablanca in the Lyon 2015 "Consular Celebrations"

As part of its participation in the "Consular celebrations" of Lyon 2015, this year bringing together more than 60 nations, Morocco Consulate General in Lyon has made a focus on the promotion of three destinations with high environmental, cultural and economic value as represented by the cities of Dakhla, Essaouira and Casablanca.

“The choice of these destinations and the values ​​they convey has been done due to the national and international interest vis-à-vis these promising Moroccan poles”, reads a statement of Morocco's Consulate General in Lyon, which organized the Moroccan participation in partnership with the Youssoufia Phosphates and with the support of the Ministry of Moroccans living abroad, the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the Hassan II Foundation.

Held on past Saturday and Sunday on the Place Bellecour, one of the largest pedestrian squares in Europe, Consular holidays are the highlight of the pre-summer period, attracting some 35,000 visitors.

Around 63 nations and more than a dozen regional and international organizations are represented in this event.

The House of Morocco pavilion in the "Consular Holidays" of Lyon 2015 is enjoying particular attention, both by the quality of its presentation and thanks to its communication strategy.

In an open space of 75m2, divided into three areas and showcasing very different atmospheres, are presented the three selected locations, each with a study targeting visitors and VIP guests.
