The Dutch National Office for Statistics announced recently that one out of four Dutch people holders of dual nationality are originally from Morocco
According to figures of the Dutch Office about 1.3 million of the Netherlands’ citizens are holders of one nationality or more, a quarter of whom are Moroccan nationals. Turkish citizens approximately represent the same percentage.
Besides, the remaining 50% accounts for other nationalities, representing 170 foreign countries where the residents come from.
In 2013, the Netherlands issued a law regulating the registration of dual nationalities’ holders.
