The CCME condemns the terrorist attack against the islamic cultural Center of Québec (Canada)

The Council of the Moroccan Community living Abroad (CCME) strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Canadian Islamic Cultural Center (CCIQ) in the evening of Sunday, January 29, 2017, which caused several deaths and wounded, from different nationalities, including Moroccans.

The CCME expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Canadian society known for its values ​​of tolerance and living together

This barbaric act clearly  targets the  foreign, and Muslim, communities, especially those who  are fully integrated in the Canadian society.

The Council urges the Moroccan community in Québec and all through Canada to deepen its efforts against extremism and violence and battle against hatred that these terrorist acts try to propagate in the society.
