Sir Jeremy Greenstock hails HM the King's intelligent, clear-sighted vision on democratic and economic development in Morocco

London(MAP) - HM King Mohammed VI leads with intelligence and clear-sightedness the process of democratic and economic development in Morocco, said Sir Jeremy Greenstock, Chairman of the United Nations Association - UK (UNA-UK).

It is very interesting to see how Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, addresses with intelligence the profound changes taking place in the Arab region, Sir Greenstock told MAP on the sidelines of a ceremony co-organized Thursday by Morocco's embassy in London UNA-UK at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club (RAC) in London to celebrate the United Nations Day (October 24).

The British diplomat noted that the Kingdom, thanks to the progress it has achieved, serves as an important model for other countries in the region.

Sir Greenstock said he is confident Morocco will succeed, thanks to the leadership of HM the King, to meet the challenges of economic and democratic development.

Referring to Morocco's role in the UN in the field of promoting democracy and human rights, the former British ambassador to the UN said Morocco has always adopted an intelligent approach within international organizations, including the UN.
