Tangier hosts the 7th edition of the MEDays North -South forum

Rabat- The 7th edition of the MEDays Forum, held under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI (November 12-15), opened Wednesday night in Tangier, in the presence of eminent political and economic figures and decision-makers from all over the globe.

Speaking on this occasion, Morocco's minister delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mbarka Bouaida said that the international political landscape fragmented by the Arab Spring poses a challenge to the international community, particularly to the world major powers to shoulder their responsibility and rethink of the current global situation.

Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, remains faithful to the universal values of humanity, pluralism and moderation, Bouaida added.

The Moroccan senior official said that the Kingdom calls for the establishment of a new world order that takes into account the specificities of each country, particularly the countries of the South including Africa.

Building on the success of its first six editions, the MEDays Forum now stands as the strategic meeting of global players in the geostrategic, political and economic spheres.

It's a suitable platform for strengthening relations between the North and the South and more specifically between the regions of the Maghreb, Mediterranean, Africa and the Arab world, since 2010, the forum includes the regions of Latin America and Asia /With Map
