An international “Women’s Entrepreneurship Day” celebrated in Marrakech.

In the margins of the 5th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, taking place from 19th to 21st November 2014, in Marrakech, panel discussions were dedicated to women as various discussions and exchanges on topics related to “women’s entrepreneurship in Morocco, Africa and the world” took place.

In attendance were eminent personalities, namely Ms. Zoulikha Nasri, Adviser of King Mohammed VI, Ms. Jill Biden, spouse of US Vice President Mr. Joe Biden, in addition to various “Moroccan Ministers as well as several women entrepreneurs managers of major African and international companies,” a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs read.

“Participants in this special event will benefit from mentoring sessions, supervised by CEOs and international experts, and B to B meetings to explore partnership opportunities and business development,” the statement further noted.

“Women entrepreneurs will be able to launch their innovative projects and ideas before a jury of eminent international personalities, namely the American Secretary of State for Trade, Ms. Penny Pritzker,” the statement closed. /With the Moroccan times.
