E-Taqafa, a virtual cultural center dedicated to Moroccans abroad

The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans living abroad will be launching on January, 19 at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat, the online platform E-taqafa.ma, a Moroccan virtual cultural center, on the occasion of the World Day of the 101st migrants and Refugees.

www.e-taqafa.ma is a digital space for MRE, which will highlight Morocco through its heritage and cultural wealth, says the foundation. It will give an overview of the Moroccan arts and cultural scene and its players in the world.

This platform offers a multidisciplinary program including in particular cultural heritage, history, prehistory, pictorial art, stories ... it will regularly present new publications, festivals, biennials, exhibitions and other events in the news arts and culture of Morocco, adds the same note.

In addition, E-Taqafa enables designers and other cultural actors to exchange about art, literature, theater, cinema through analysis, chronicles, exchange workshops and sharing ... It will also contain portraits and close-ups highlighting achievements, course and outstanding artistic experiences. A virtual gallery will also feature exhibitions of Moroccan artists living abroad and serve as a bridge between art and culture in Morocco and the contribution of Moroccan talents abroad.
