"Brussels, the Moroccan", new collective book

Friday, 23 January 2015

A new collective work entitled "Brussels, the Moroccan,"  by its author Adnan Taha, has just been published by Editions Fennec (Casablanca 2015), with support from the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the Moroccan ministry of culture.

"In verse or prose, using a light or serious tone with the fascination of a charmed visitor or the familiarity of a child, thirty-one Moroccan writers, armed with their tropes and imagination explore the city and its shadows illuminated by the lucidity of the gaze ", reads a statement by Map news agency

The book brings together thirty-three texts by authors from diverse backgrounds and varied sensibilities some of which are visiting Brussels, some who reside there and others who are from immigrant families, each of which offers its own version of "Brussels”.
