A series of meetings on Rahma El Mouden's book "Le chemin de ma liberté"

The Council for the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), in partnership the Sochepress Foundation and the Association for Feminist Solidarity, announces a series of book meetings with the Dutch writer of Moroccan descent, Rahma El Mouden, about her book "Le chemin de ma liberté".

The series of meetings include a book presentation in Casablanca at the Feminist Solidarity Association on 21 January, followed by a meeting at the Bibliothèque de Paris in El Jadida on Wednesday 22 January. Furthermore, students from the Dar El Taliba Association in Oulmes will be holding a meeting with the author on 23 January, while the Bibliothèque du Millénaire library in Rabat will be hosting another presentation of the book on Friday 24 January, to be followed by a meeting at the Eklil Cultural Centre in Tangiers on 25 January 2025.

Rahma El Mouden was born in Tangiers and has lived in the Netherlands since the age of 17. She currently runs a leading cleaning services company in the Netherlands. A translation by Mustapha Aarab of the book, which tells the story of Rahma El Mouden's life in the Netherlands, is now available in Arabic.
