Council Of Moroccan Ulema For Europe Condemns 'Despicable' Attack On Strasbourg Grand Mosque

Brussels (Map)-The Council of Moroccan Ulema for Europe strongly condemned the "criminal fire attack" on the Grand Mosque of Strasbourg, calling it "a despicable act contrary to the values of tolerance and coexistance."

In a statement, the Muslim body called on the French authorities to do their utmost to bring to justice the perpetrators of this criminal act.

The Council also urged the Muslim community in the French city to show a great sense of responsibility and work to promote the values of peace and mutual respect.

Videosurveillance footage showed the main gate of the Grand Mosque of Strasbourg set on fire by an individual with a mask.
