Spain will legalize 300.000 undocumented immigrants per year over the next three years. According to Spain’s officials, the reform is a response to a need in the labor market, specifically in agriculture, construction and services.
The reform reduces and simplifies legal and administrative procedures for work and residence permits.
The amendment also includes longer-term visas: a visa can be extended from 3 to 12 months for job seekers while a study visa could qualify to work 30 hours per week.
