The Maison de la Diaspora held its second Diaspora Talks on November 7, 2024, on the theme of “Desire for Morocco vs. desire of the diaspora”.
During the meeting, the exchanges mainly focused on how to support members of the Moroccan diaspora as they integrate and return to their home country, while at the same time facilitating the achievement of their projects.
This second edition of the Maison de la Diaspora" meetings comes at a particularly important moment, with His Majesty King Mohammed VI's announcement of the creation of the Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans living abroad on November 6, during the Green March speech. In his speech, HM the King also called for a reorganization of institutions in charge of the Moroccan diaspora's affairs abroad.
The Maison de la Diaspora Marocaine, is an NGO established in Casablanca in January 2023.
