The Council for the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), in partnership the Sochepress Foundation and the Association for Feminist Solidarity, announces a series of book meetings with the Dutch writer of Moroccan descent, Rahma El Mouden, about her book "Le chemin de ma liberté".

Moroccan-Canadian author Mustapha Fahmi has published his third novel, La Beauté de Cléopâtre (La peuplade, 2025).

Each year, the "Trophées Marocains du Monde" Foundation, organiser of the event, awards a prize in recognition of exceptional figures of Moroccan descent having made a significant contribution in their fields, including arts and culture, scientific research, politics, business, sport and civil society.

The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad, having followed with great interest the meeting held on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at the headquarters of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco under royal instruction and which was dedicated to the announcement of the reforms that will concern the Family Code based on the conclusions of the commission assigned by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to lead the public dialogue and draft proposals for amendments relating to the reform and review of the family legislative framework, takes with great pride the high Royal patronage given to this issue which has been essential in reaching the important proposals that have been achieved.

To celebrate International Human Rights Day, the “Centre de Développement de la Région Tensift (CDRT)”, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and family of the late Ahmed Chaouki Benyoub, is holding a national conference on "Human Rights Culture: Visions, Testimonies and Challenges".The conference will take place on Saturday 14 December 2024 at 3.30pm in the Conference Room of the Club de la Justice in Marrakech. A tribute will be paid to the late Ahmed Chaouki Benyoub, a leading figure in Moroccan human rights activism.

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez's meetings on the Alliance of Civilisations are being held on 6 and 7 December 2024, on the theme ‘Rebuilding trust and improving the state of the world’.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of the Netherlands has published a report on the social and financial difficulties facing Moroccans in the country. The report highlights the obstacles encountered by the Moroccan community in their daily lives, including the language barriers, their social isolation and unemployment.

Paris - On the sidelines of the bi-annual conference for Consuls General, held by Morocco and supported by the Kingdom's Embassy in France, senior officials from the Ministries of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, including the co-chairs of the Morocco-France Permanent Joint Migration Group (GMMP), held an unprecedented meeting at the Chancellery on Friday 30 November 2024, at the invitation of the Kingdom of Morocco.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Eugène Delacroix Circle, an association of French elected representatives of Moroccan descent, organized, on Thursday 28 November 2024 in the French Senate in Paris, the 3rd France-Maroc Electors Forum on the theme: “Ecological Transformation in Territorial Regions: Cross-cutting Visions’: Crossed Visions”.

De Nederlandse Instituut in Marokko (NIMAR), in partnership with the Council for the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), announces the second edition of its monthly literary series, Café Littéraire. This initiative celebrates the voices and stories of Moroccan-Dutch literary figures.
