Marrakech: the Moroccans of the World Trophies hold their 6th edition

The sixth edition of the Trophées Marocains du Monde (TMM), organized in partnership with the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), will be held from May 23 to 26 in Marrakech, and will feature the presence of eminent figures from the Moroccan diaspora from a variety of spheres.

In a release sent by the “Fondation Trophées Marocains du Monde” to MAP, the organizers of this year's event, state that the edition will be divided into two “highlights”. The first event, the “Rencontres de la Fondation Trophées Marocains du Monde”, takes place on Friday May 24 at the Palace Es Saadi, and includes a seminar on the theme “Investments by Moroccans of the World: understanding the new ecosystem in Morocco”. The first session of the conference features a “Grand Interview” with Dr. Ilham Kadri, President of Syensqo, on her exceptional journey.

This event is part of a series of events initiated by the TMM Foundation in several destinations around the world. Following on from Brussels in February 2024, the conferences will stop off in Marrakech, London in September and Madrid in November.

The second highlight of the event is the Awards Ceremony, which takes place on Saturday, May 25. A total of eighteen nominees representing six countries (France, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Spain and USA) competed in six categories.

The jury for this year's event includes Nadia Bothorel (Managing Director, C&A France), Najat Vallaud-Belkacem (former Minister, President of France Terre d'Asile), Karim Amor (President of MeM by CGEM), Fahd Benkirane (Managing Director, UM6P France), Ali Mehrez (Project Manager, AMDIE) and Amale DAOUD (Journalist, Member of the Trophées Marocains du Monde Foundation).
